Yael Stein was born in Australian living in New York City since 2013, played Lorna Morrello in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Yael enjoyed the privilege to work with some of Australia's most renowned storytellers. She's worked behind the scenes in film, television and the theatre. Yael's work is well-known in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new home with the city of New York City when the production was acclaimed in the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael has been a co-founder of The Cannery. It is located in The Cannery, a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new imaginative writing and promote innovative ideas.
