Washington Butler is a native of Puyallup who was awed by arts and culture from an early age. She was an actor in the theater at her high school and also in the community theatre. After moving into Los Angeles, she studied theater at the University of Southern California and performed as Belle the princess in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for one year and one quarter. In November of 2011, Butler and Estella Warren began filming the thriller based on psychological research The Stranger Within in Mallorca in Spain. The film will also be made on location in Copenhagen Denmark as well as New York City. In June 2012, she joined Michael Biehn in the Los Angeles shooting of Treachery.
